The role of System Integration/Testing Engineer involves leading the integration, test, and verification of advanced Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Satellite‑Based Augmentation System (SBAS) solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high‑reliability navigation capabilities.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integration, test, and verification (IT&V) plans for GNSS/SBAS hardware and software, including test‑procedure creation, test execution, data analysis, and reporting
  • Apply SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, RTCA DO‑178C, DO‑278A, and/or DO‑254 as appropriate to ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness
  • Conduct hazard assessments, FMEA, and other safety analyses; mitigate technical and program risks
  • Work closely with software, hardware, RF, electrical, and mission‑operations teams to resolve integration issues
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and serve as a subject‑matter expert on GNSS/SBAS technologies
  • Communicate status, risks, and technical findings to customers, suppliers, and subcontractors

Skills

  • Familiar with the application of systems engineering and software development processes to the design, development, integration, test, and verification of complex systems
  • Experience with Global Navigation Satellite System (e.g. GPS, Galileo, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with complex software development and continuous integration processes/metrics in any modern programming language (C++, Java, Python etc.)
  • Satellite Based Augmentation System familiarity
  • Knowledge of Global Navigation Satellite System (e.g. GPS, Galileo, etc.)
  • Systems engineering background (requirements, design, interfaces, etc.)
  • Willingness / ability to travel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
